Now go Deeper with Google Search

You can now search deeper with Google Search. If you are looking for some information from a particular site, just type in that site’s name in search box and hit enter. The site will be hopefully appear top of the search results and you can see a second level search box below it. Now type in the search phrase of your interest of your choice and Google will fetch the information from that site. However, this will be chosen algorithmically based on metrics that measure how useful the search box is to users.

For example, if you are looking for any product info from Amazon, but you forget the URL of that, just search google for “Amazon” and you will see that second level search box under the first result. Now search for that product name and Google will bring you the URL of that product from amazon.com.

google teleporting Now go Deeper with Google Search

They are calling this technique “Teleporting”.

We call this “teleporting”, and we’re pleased that we have been able to minimize the need to remember an alphabet soup of .coms, .nets, and .orgs out of everyone’s lives. However, one of the trends we noticed while studying teleporting was that there were lots of searchers who would type the name of a specific website as if they wanted to teleport, but would then immediately issue another more a refined search within this site.

In my opinion, this is just a GUI of commands like “Keyword inurl:site.com” or “Keyword site:site.com” as when you search something in second level search box, the search string changes accordingly.
