We use Email and SMS marketing for my son restaurant, we take every guest email address and mobile number and send ones a months a letter with offer, a success. We use “Freecall” and it cost us only 15 Euros a year, if we send 1or 10.000 SMS a year.
in what field does PPC belong?
Great tips, Abhik. Social media marketing is something I need to learn more about as it is growing more and more significant with each day as more and more avenues are coming up such as Google Plus, which is the most recent one.

Some great promotion ideas Abhik. I have not given much through to using local listing on the search engines, but it sounds like a great avenue to explore.
