7 Day WordPress Camp : Day 6
Continuing from 7 Day WordPress Camp : Day 5
So far we have completed all the major steps to create a killer blog running on autopilot. Let’s now add some content manually. I always say, an autoblog with frequent manual updates makes it a winning combination. Search engines loves regular updates, but it also likes quality and unique content. Therefore, manual update with unique and quality articles is also necessary.
1. Adding Pages: We should have some static pages on our blog. Like a contact us page, about us page and most importantly Privacy Policy page to compile with Adsense and other Ad Network’s TOS. Google for “Free Privacy Policy Generator” and follow the steps mentioned in the site. You’ll have your own privacy policy generated.
To add a page, login to your Admin CP. Then click on “Add New” under Pages setting group at the left side bar. Enter your Page Title (For Example: Privacy Policy), add the page content in the editor box and do the formatting (bold, italics, colors etc). Fill in the Platinum SEO fields. Select a page parent if you want your new page to be the subpage of an existing page. Enter the order (shorted by name by default) and Click Publish.

2. Adding Contents (Posts): Here we are going to add our posts manually. To create a new post, Login to your Admin CP and click on “Add New” under Posts setting group at the left sidebar.
First, choose a post category and then enter your Post Title. The keyword rich URL will be generated automatically. Add the post content and the editor box and do that necessary formatting. Fill out the Platinum SEO fields. You can also add some tags to the post at the right sidebar. Click on the Publish Button when you are done.
